Jede Zutat wird sorgfältig nach ihrer Qualität und Sanftheit ausgewählt – frei von ätherischen Ölen, tierischen Inhaltsstoffen und Parfüm. Es ist Make-up für Sie, die Ihrer Haut etwas Gutes tun wollen.
Sandstone arbeitet eng mit Allergy Certified zusammen, um sicherzustellen, dass alle Produkte hautfreundlich sind. Keines der Sandstone-Produkte enthält ätherische Öle, und alles ist zudem 100% frei von Parfüm und tierischen Inhaltsstoffen. Behind a finished Sandstone product lies a long series of choices that few will ever see. We work on the formulation, the colors, and the feel on the skin, but also on everything surrounding the product that is crucial for quality. Ingredients are evaluated, packaging is tested, and the products undergo, among other things, tests for stability and durability.
We keep adjusting, testing, and refining until we believe the product is ready. Not because the process needs to be difficult, but because that is how we can stand behind what we send out into the world.

Sandstone wurde 2015 in Odense gegründet, ausgehend vom Wunsch eines Vaters nach reiner Schminke für seine Töchter, bei der die Haut nicht täglich unnötigen Inhaltsstoffen ausgesetzt wird. Als Vater und Parfümallergiker wurde ihm klar, dass seine Familie – wie viele andere – schonende, parfümfreie Alternativen von hoher Qualität brauchte. Heute sind zwei der Töchter, Caroline und Sofie, aktiv an Sandstone beteiligt und tragen dazu bei, die Richtung der Marke zu gestalten. Gemeinsam arbeiten sie mit demselben Grundgedanken weiter: Make-up zu schaffen, das angenehm zu tragen ist, gut aussieht und die Haut schont.
Bei Sandstone beginnt alles mit der Haut. Wir glauben an Produkte, die nicht nur gut aussehen, sondern auch gut für Sie sind. Unser Make-up kombiniert Farbe und Pflege, sodass die Haut bekommt, was sie braucht. Wir haben schnell gelernt, dass natürlich nicht immer sanft bedeutet und synthetisch nicht immer schädlich. Was wirklich zählt, ist, dass die Inhaltsstoffe sorgfältig ausgewählt, wirksam und sicher sind. Auf diese Weise können wir Make-up kreieren, das die Haut pflegt, schön aussieht und sich angenehm anfühlt – jeden Tag.

Slow Beauty is ultimately our way of viewing beauty. We do not believe that more is always better. We do not believe that a good product becomes less relevant just because a new season begins. And we do not believe that we constantly have to tell you that you are missing something new.
We believe in creating fewer, well-thought-out products that have a reason to exist. In colors you will want to return to. In quality, consideration, and a simplicity that reflects our Scandinavian roots. We will, of course, continue to evolve. New ideas will arise, and new products will find their way to Sandstone. But they must have something to contribute. And they must have the time it takes.Because we would rather create something worth waiting for than something that is just new.
