Big Crush Blush 23 Private Jet

I have a super hard time finding blush that I feel like compliments my skin without making me look too made up or like I’ve been embalmed. This little compact size of blush for me is really suitable for me. I got the Tied Up color. I have olive skin that tans easily, but my normal skin tone isn’t particularly dark at all. This color compliments my golden undertones and makes me look natural and glowing. The color isn’t shimmery, and blends well. This blush powder is no frills, just a pretty and subtle color. I’m pleased.

This color in "Big Crush" is beautiful. I am a brunette with light olive skin tone and this color is just perfect for my complexion. I wear very little make-up, just a bit of concealer, translucent powder, blush and lip balm. So, wearing the right blush color and texture is very important to me. I like that this blush goes on matte because I just gives me that natural skin-kissed look. There is no shimmer to this blush and I love it! This is the first time I have used this brand Sandstone and I am so excited to discover more of their make-up line. This product is made in Denmark. I have never heard of this brand before but according to the packaging, the brand is based in Denmark, and their products are made in the EU. After using this blush, I’m interested in exploring more of their products. Both the packaging and the product feel high-quality, yet still affordable. I really like the design of this blush compact. It snaps shut tightly, and require a firm push to open it. The swivel hinge on the lid is well-controlled and doesn’t swing open loosely.I got shade 22 Tied Up. In the product photos, it looked warm, like more of a coral shade but in real life, it's a lot cooler, like a dusty rose. Even on my warm-toned skin, the blush still looks cooler than the product photos.The blush is finely milled. When I swirl my finger in the compact, it creates a lot of fallout, and using a brush to tap into the product generates even more (see my photo). This means I have to be careful during application to ensure no fallout remains on my skin. I make sure to brush off any excess powder from my face after applying the blush. That said, the product blends out beautifully. To avoid excess powder getting everywhere, I recommend tapping off your brush before applying it to your face.I like the level of pigmentation of this blush. It’s not overly intense with a single dip, so you can gradually build it up to your desired level. This makes it a great blush for beginners since there’s low risk of applying too much at once. At the same time, it doesn’t take long to achieve a more intense look if that’s what you’re going for.And this blush isn't completely matte; it has a subtle sheen that gives it a natural, skin-like finish. Instead of looking like powder sitting on the surface, it seamlessly blends in, appearing as though it's part of my skin.In terms of longevity, the blush stays on my face for about 4 hours before I feel the need to reapply to maintain the color intensity I like. However, even if I don't reapply, about 10% of the color remains after a full workday, which still gives me a soft, natural flush.

I am quite pale. I adore this super light pink, called private jet. I have learned that more, is not more, with this. Application needs to be sufficient I find, but layering more for a darker shade doesn't look right. It looks great applied modestly-ish and I appreciate the light pink glow that I get, REALLY beautiful accent on my face, especially combined with a nice contour, just gorgeous. I like how this goes on with a makeup puff. This is a made by a great company in Denmark, with a strong concern for quality ingredients, so you can be sure they had a high level of conscious consideration in the concocting of this product.
